Dear Parents
We hope you are all keeping well. Just a reminder: - When it is your child's birthday, we don't mind if you wish to send in a small treat for the pupils in your child's class. These treats must be individually wrapped and have no nuts or allergens in them. We will give the treat to each child just before they go home at the end of the school day. We do not allow the pupils to eat any of the treats during the school day and we say that they must show their parent's the treats before they eat them. We have to be conscious of children having food allergies or not being allowed to eat certain food products. We do not accept birthday cakes into the school so please do not send them in. It is impossible for the teacher to cut up the cake during the school day. We want to ensure that your child will enjoy their birthday so we ask for your cooperation on these matters. Thank you Ms Bourke Laila,Damian & Neil are competing in a Judo Competition which is an All Ireland Schools Event .They will be representing St Lukes NS and the school has helped support them with sponsorship for the competition.
The competition takes place on 29th May and their coach is Ciaran Foley, Coolmine Judo Club. The competition will be taking place in Phibblestown. We wish them the best of luck ! Dear Parents It was lovely to see so many of you at the Parents Meet and Greet yesterday. Thank you all for coming along. As discussed, we are really looking forward to meeting your child at our Junior infants open afternoon on June 22nd at 1:45pm until approximately 2:15pm. This visit will give your child a chance to see their new classroom and it should make things a little easier before your child starts school on August 31st. Our SET team have asked that you complete this Communication Passport document with your child. Please bring this document along on June 22nd if possible. It will help us to learn a little more about your child. Many thanks Ms Bourke Dear Parents
We have been approached by a couple of families in the school, who are living in emergency accommodation at present, and who are looking for a rental property in D15. They have young children. Do you know of any properties that are available at this time? They really need your help. Please contact the school if you have any availability or know of any availability.
