​Ms Cullinan, Ms Barrett and Mr Bruen brought our school Athletics team to UCD on Wednesday May the 31st for a great day of Track and Field Athletics. The children took part in a range of athletics disciplines like sprints, relays, 600m, shot putt and long jump. For many children it was their first experience of taking part in such a competition and the athletes made themselves and our school extremely proud. Great determination, skills and sportsmanship was shown on the day and one of our amazing 6th class girls even managed to bring home a gold medal for her impressive performance in the long jump. Well done to all. 

Fingal Athletics League 

 
​After a very positive experience last year, boys and girls from 3rd to 6th class returned to the Fingal Athletics League in Porterstown Park on Tuesday the 7th of March 2023 and again on March 21st. 
We returned for the Finals day in ALSAA on April 26th where we also got to experience running on the track as well as cross country. 

The 3rd class ran 300m, 4th class 400m, 5th class 500m and the 6th class 600m. The children began training hard back in January and after weeks of hard work in school all the children really made our school proud for their excellent behaviour, sportsmanship and determination. Teachers and students really enjoyed all three days. Well done to all!
