Planting in Our Class

It is important to plant at this time of the year. We planted rocket leaves, mixed leaves, mustard and parsley. It was messy but great fun! We can't wait until they grow and we can taste them.

Making Rice Krispie Buns

There was great fun in 1st class when we made Rice Krispie buns. We all worked together and shared everything. The Rice Krispie buns were delicious when we got to eat them. 

Under the Sea

We are all delighted to be back in First Class after our Christmas break. We had great fun reading the story 'The Snail and the Whale', learned the song 'We all Live in a Yellow Submarine' and made our own submarines with Ms Doyle. 

Christmas in Our Class

​Christmas was great fun for everyone in First Class. We had a visit from Santa, we went to see Elf in the cinema and we also sang lots of songs in our Christmas concert. 

Nollaig Shona

There was great fun in First Class when Ms Forde helped us all make penguins. They look really good. We can't wait to bring them home to decorate our rooms before Christmas. 

Take Off!

We all had great fun learning about rockets and space. We had even more fun making our own. We used shapes and chalk to create them. Have a look at some of our rockets!

​Halloween in our Class

Halloween was so much fun for all of us. We dressed up and went to a haunted room. It was a great day. We can't wait to get dressed up and go trick or treating. We will play lots of Halloween games at home during the week off!

Colour Mixing Experiment

We were all very excited to learn about colour mixing. This activity is one that investigates what happens to skittles when warm and cold water is added. We mixed up the colours of sweets then arranged them around the plates, we added water to both plates. The results we got were great.
