Welcome to St. Luke’s NS Tyrrelstown. I am the Principal, Vivienne Bourke. It is my great pleasure to be Principal of this vibrant and wonderful school. As I like to say – this is the best school in the world!

The community of Tyrrelstown is a warm and vibrant community. The people here come from every corner of the world. With them they bring a spirit of generosity, respect, freedom, integrity and warmth.  Our local community businesses and our Parish of St Luke the Evangelist support the school whenever possible. They enhance our work here tremendously.

The children that attend St. Luke’s reflect the wonderful homes that they come from. The parents are so involved in their education and in their wellbeing. We are the lucky ones to be teaching these children. They have so many talents and skills. They are gifted in so many ways. We support the pupils in every way that we can. We try to bring out the best in them and help them to find any undiscovered talents.

The staff at St. Luke’s always go above and beyond the call of duty. They create a welcoming and warm atmosphere for everyone. They work so hard and bring out the best in every child with their patience, care, kindness and understanding.

Our Board of Management is made up of an incredible team of volunteers who work tirelessly for the benefit of the whole school community. They give their time freely to ensure that every child benefits from a top class education and an enjoyable school experience.
