The aim of St. Luke’s National School shall be to promote the intellectual, moral, social and physical well being of the children, through the development of positive self-esteem, good communication skills and personal talents.
Catholic values form the basis of the moral teaching and are the guiding principles underpinning all class activities and interactions between pupils and teachers.
The school aims to be a positive force in the maturing of the child into a self reliant, caring and understanding person, capable of taking responsibility and fostering and maintaining stable relationships.
At a practical level it is our purpose to make each child articulate, literate and numerate so that as adults they may function and contribute as a useful member of our society.
