Hand drying/hygiene |
(381) Wednesday, November 8, 2017 |
Dear parents, Saint Luke’s National school is a Green School and this means that we are committed to lowering our energy emissions, recycling our waste and conserving our water usage. We have found that the paper towels which are in each classroom are adding greatly to our waste and are not environmentally friendly. Following the example of other schools of similar size we are now asking each child bring their own small hand towel/face cloth to school every day in a sealable plastic bag to dry their hands when needed. We will be starting this new practice from Monday the 13th of November. Saint Luke’s National School
